Hi Bunk:

Just thinking about you and I am sorry that I am not as local on your site as I used to be. Doesn't mean that I'm not thinkng about you because I always am. :)
So, we have your mom on Facebook and now we need to get you on it. It is a great tool for keeping in contact with old friends and new. I think it can work great too to help get the word out. I have your website up on my page as well as the golf pictures. I have already rallied some Portland golfers for next year who saw your pictures and asked me about it. Made me feel really good. They know how important you are to me so they are great guys and can't wait for you to meet them.
Well love, I hope you all are well and doing well.

Miss You,

Kristen

Hey Bunk...Will be up in the area on Saturday for my son Connor's Volleyball Tourney. I was wondering if I could stop by with some chilli for you and grab my big white cooler that you have so nicely housed for me since the golf Tourney!?!? It would most likely be in the earlier morning hours...I can always just drop it off at the door but I would love to see you and your beautiful smile for a few if poss...no need to be up and out of bed...that's where I like best anyhow!!!!! Hope to see you on Sat. If by chance you guys get this before I arrive and don't want to see me...feel free to leave the cooler on the front porch! Love to you all...C.

Hey Bunk...Just checkiin' in. So very sorry to hear about your friend ROJO! Glad to hear that things are going well....especially the breathing...good for you...breathing is always important. Bunk,

You are such an inspiration. I just read the updates and I admire you so much. I had a rough day today, taking husband to the doctor, plus other medical details. But, when I read what you're going through, and how bravely you handle everything, my "rough day" doesn't seem so rough. I so enjoy reading about the progress of the Tipsy. We've never met, and I drop a line from time to time, but I'm reminded of you each day I go out on the patio. We still have the Coleman chair cushions and rabbit planter I bought at your great rummarge sale at the church, how many years ago now, three? Thank you for making me appreciate what we take for granted. And, love to your great family and parents. There can't be any better parents than yours! You're very blessed, as are they by having you!
I'm sorry about the passing of your friend.

Hi Bunk!

Just thinking of you and wanted to say hi! I wish I could report something exciting, except to say work is good...it seems like so long ago when things were much simpler and I didn't have to take my work stress home with me! (No one warns you about the joys of having your own practice!! )
Anyway, you're never far from my thoughts...I miss chatting with you on sunday mornings (even if I had you in a head lock and you were forced to listen!!)
lots of luv,

Yvonne

Bunkster:
Not boring. Bobby Cecil and the kids and dog have been living with us for almost 2 months. Very interesting. Like living in my own sitcom but no remote. Their house is coming along and looks really great, done in a couple more months. Cecil designed both houses on Kauai and now this remodel. She is so damn talented.

Rosebud is VERY busy with the grandkids. Me, selectively. Two ball games tonight. R made both of them and I caught just one.
T Bone took a nasty hit at the skateboard park a couple of weeks ago. Did a CAT scan and no damage but he was really goofy (goofier)for a couple of days.
Bufy and JT have sold their house and are moving to another in Los Al. I can't keep up with these kids.
Stopped by Scotty's fitness center, Anytime Fitness, today. He is doing really great, He's running this location and the owners are opening another. He is such a great guy.
They had a fire in Leisure World a few months ago and have waved the no renting rule so the displaced fire victims would not have to stay in a hotel. Worked for me, I'm renting my mom's place and will be for some time. Not selling it now till the market turns around. So, this helps with the monthly fees. No losers here.
Ten minutes off the vent? Pretty impressive. Keep up the good work.
Are you going to have an open house when the Tipsy is finished?
Well, enough for now.
Take care....Uncle Phil

The record for most time at BJ's has to go to Andy Valdez, a new Buck for the year. Andy came at 11:30 to keep Linda and Priti company and ended up staying til past 9:00pm. I was going to have a nap after work and head over but Linda said they left Andy there by himself and we had to go back, "Right Now." It was unbelievable the number of people who were there in Brea. A big thanks to Rana for setting it up.

Hi Bunk:

It's been awile, I know but I am always thinking of you. I spread the flyer for BJ's to all my So Cal friends so hopefully they will participate.

How is life treating you? Are you close to getting in your apartment yet?

I have been hit pretty hard with the flu so thank god I work from home. Taking some naps while answering emails and placing calls.

Just wanted to send you a warm "hello" and hopefully put a smile on your face!

Miss you,

Hi Bunk, Sally, and Red -
As usual, it is so good to read the updates about you, Bunk. I have become addicted to reading the Bunker news. I'm sorry I didn't make it to the Golf Tourny. I'm afraid I totally pooped out after grooming and exercizing two horses that afternoon. Rojo gave me a run-down on how good the whole day was. I like your idea of the plastic glass in your shirt pocket so you can spit out your sunflower seeds. BRILLIANT! I hope to see you soon.

Bunk,
Good times on Tuesday, I think the beer pavilion idea went well, thinking of moving the beer pong back out to a golf hole and putting black jack in its place.

I should be by soon to coordinate a few follow up details and let all the participants and sponsors the final results.

Yo Bunk - St. Patrick's Day at Coyote Hills was beautiful and so were you. I forgot to tell you that Sheila and I went to Joe Jost's on Sunday March 8 and all the St.Pat's T-shirts were sold out. %&@%. Sorry 'bout that but next year we'll get there early and get you one. See you sometime next week.

I really enjoyed the St. Pat's dinner. But, not as much as Jimmy Killeen and Jimmy Weeks enjoyed the golf. Oh, the good old days.
Everything seemed to go off without a hitch and everyone seemed to have a really, really good time.
You are so lucky to have such an impressive group of supporters and friends, what a vibrant group of people.
I've told the Obama-Jesus joke about 20 times.
I was thinking of the first golf tournament. What a great improvement in the last two years. I know your remember the van with the broken lift. Your folks and you all looked so darn healthy. and everything went off so smoothly. Lots of progress.
See you in the Tipsy.....Uncle Phil

Dear Cousin Bunk and Family,

Just catching up with all your updates. Sounds like you're doing very well and the Tipsy is progressing along nicely.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Sorry we will not be able to make it the tournament, but we will be with you in spirit! As Grandpa Phil said earlier, we are up to our elbows in baseball right now. Jimmy decided to play again this year, so we're spending five or six days a week at the park. I love watching my boys play, but I'm feeling a little old and tired these days. However, I am very grateful and blessed to be able to attend all of their games. I know a lot parents who can't always make it the games and it's a bummer for the kids and the parents.

Well, I'm off to watch Michael play a lunch-time basketball game. It's a Monroe tradition for the 5th graders to have basketball tournaments during their lunch break. Can't believe Michael, Jake, and T-Bone will all be in Middle School next year. Time sure goes by quickly!

I hope you have a great day and I will miss seeing you and all your friends today. By the way, both boys are wearing their "Uncle Bunk" Irish green bracelets at school today!

Love and prayers!

Lori, Mike, Mimo, and Jimmy

Sorry I will not be able to get to S. Cal today for your tourny. But I will hoist a pint - perhaps with O'Neill - later today. O'Neill lives with a great women named Helene, her tow young daughters and home, and the other two kids who are older and only leave when the rules get tough. Imagine that..O'Neill with rules. Enjoy the great day! Sean

I will not be able to attend the golf tournament today but did make a small donation. I hope to meet you in person someday.

Bunk Daddy,

I wanted to get in pre-tourney and call my shot. Victory will once again be riding home with the Scarlet and Gray. There are a few things that are a given in life. 1. Everyone loves Bunk. 2. The Monarchs roll up the Friars. 3. Carms always wins the Bunk Classic. Any questions?

I love you bro and can't wait to see everyone tomorrow.

Hi Bunk:

2 more days till the big day. You don't even know how bummed I am that I will not be there to run part of the show but I know my position was left in wonderful hands with the Rosary ladies.

My father and sis will be attending the dinner. My mom decided to celebrate the day in style so she hopped on a plane to visit Ireland in person. That crazy Marilyn.

I just spoke to Rhett today and he was landing in Palm Dessert to visit his parents at their new home and he and his father will be there as well on Tuesdayfor some golf and dinner.

I look forward to hearing all the stories on the day and looking at your pictures.

Nice to hear your home is moving forward with furniture selections, etc. I am especially delighted to hear that you will be taking up your talent again and paint. I can't wait to see.

Have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day Bunk and I will miss you all!!

Much Love,

Hi Bunk,
Great News, Father Sera was able to get his schedule cleared and will be in attendance for the St Patrick's dinner on Tuesday night and will lead us in the blesssing. He is a long time friend of our family and I know a recent friend to yours and it will be good to have him with us to celebrate.

I have received a few last minute registrations this weekend that should push us into the 130-140 count for golfers and with all the dinner guests and volunteers we will top 200 people at dinner on St Patricks Day. You have such the loyal and faithful following as well as group of people who like to enjoy themselves so I am expecting another great time.

Thanks to all your family and friends especially Leigh Wilkens and Kim Mangini who have done most of the work this year as my travel schedule has not been all that cooperative.

I think we are all set for another successful St Patrick's Day Party

Cheers

Kevin

Hey Bunk - Sorry I will not be able to make the golf tourney but I did go online and bought a few raffle tickets. I would much rather be out there in the warm sun, instead I will probably be digging out from more snow! Next time we come back to visit CA I will definitely get in touch and stop by and say Hi.
Take care.

BUNK,
What is up? It was great to seee you at the reunion, although by that point I think I was seeing double (damn pomegranite martinis!) Anyway, it wasn't until then that I was informed I was on the MIA list and found out about all of these great events in your honor. The golf tourney sounds like so much fun it makes me wish I could golf, but I'll be there for the dinner. I look forward to catching up with you as well as reminiscing about the St. Norbert's days, like when Mrs. Abbas sent you to the principal's office because you refused to go by the name Alec...lol. See you soon, Debbi (Bormann)

Hey Bunk,

Hope you remember me from Fullerton. I added the pictue to jog your memory. Hope it doesn't scare you too much. I am friends with Kevin(and you of course) and we all partied quite a bit back in high school. Anyway, when I talk with Kev, he always lets me know how you are doing. He says that you have the best attitude ever. That is so inspiring. I think of you often and will keep you in my prayers. And I will try my best to live by your motto. Love you tons. Jules

Wat up? Looking forward to the Golf dinner. Can you fix it so I win another great door prize?
I bet your spending more time in the tipsy. Why not. It's a very comfortable setting.
Rosie and I are deep into the grandkids '09 baseball season.
Scotty is really into cycling. He's using Randy's, his dad, Bianchi. I've ridden with him a few times. He has to really slow down for me.
We had another waffle's at Bolsa last Sunday. We'll let you know next time and maybe you all can make it. It was warm and sunny this time and that makes it very nice. Mike and friends cook up pounds of sausage and bacon and I do the waffles. Fun and tasty.
Gotta go. Michael's game tonight. See you at the Golf course.....Uncle Phil

Geez, you would have thought I won the lottery when I found it Milo won. But Miss Rosalyn (you remember Roz, rigt? just had a baby girl, so she trumped me. Madalyn born Feb 11th.

Anyway, just wanted to send some love your way! Muah!

Hello
I am a class mate of your sister Erica. I must have been living under a rock for the last 3 years because I just learned of your situation. Although, I think its interesting that I would learn of it today.
I had to write to say that you inspire me. Your strength and courage are tremendously encouraging. I am sure that many folks have said that our Lord never gives us more than we can handle..so, obviously you are one amazing child of God...
You will be in my prayers and I will do whatever I can to support you.

I will never forget the call from Sue Kent telling me of what had happend. Geez, look how far you have come my friend!
If I have not told you I will tell you now; you are my life mentor and I thank you every day for the courage you give me and keeping life in perspective for me.
I am unable to attend your golf tournament this year, but I have your info posted all over my facebook page and I know that Traut sent out an email for everyone to do the same. The picture I attached is my profile pict
Please send my love and "hello's" to the family for me. I hope you all are well and know that you are a constant in my thoughts.

Bunk,

It was great to see you last weekend (well 10 days ago, but I am often late)in San Diego. Peat the dog of course did not make it but used as a pic instead of myself. I did not eat your hat on last visit to AZ.

You looked good, glad you saw some good rugby and I'll let you know next time I am in S. Cal. It is not too often. I am liking it here in Phoenix, next year maybe we can talk you out here for an Angels spring training game.

Good Morning Cousin Bunk,

Just wanted to wish you and the family a Happy Friday. Hope your week went well.
Hopefully, you will be able to enjoy the warm weather we are supposed to have this weekend.

I'm working on some yearbook pages today for our 1st grade classes. This is a perfect job for me, because I enjoy being creative and productive at the same time!!! It also helps my productivity when the boys are at school.

Well cuz, have a great weekend and we hope to see you very soon.

Love and prayers, Lori, Mike, Michael, and Jimmy

Bunkster:

Sorry I missed the party up in the Tipsy. What a great turn out. Nice to see so many people there for your bht..
Even with the rain, it's still great to live in So. Cal.
I know how anxious you are to move into the Tipsy. Who is going to keep your Mom and Dad on the straight and narrow?
Maybe you'll have to hire someone to keep an eye on them.
Looking forward to the next big event.
See ya....U P

I just learned about your accident after Tony Kuypers gave me the club website. The clubs I support in England, Bath Rugby and Leicester Tigers have players who have suffered neck injuries. The rugby world gathers round, and the injured players display a spirit that humbles.
You are well, you are amongst friends.

Hi Bunk, Sally, and Red
Even the rain cannot keep people from gathering at your home and enjoying your family. Your birthday celebration was great. I love attending functions for/with you.
Love and prayers to you.
